With all the new powers and cash the State of Disaster has given Ramaphosa, the term emperor is not misplaced and it is obvious that he and his ANC comrades are liking their new Totalitarian powers so much, they happily extended the lockdown for two more weeks. This new cloak of powers, is also like the emperor’s invisible cloak, as it does not hide the naked incompetence, ineptitude and blind greed that drives the ANC party. Yet still the ANC party prances around in its invisible cloak, pretending all is grand. because to do otherwise would be to admit that they are not only completely out of their depth, but are roleplaying to cover it up.

We have gotten used to the daily figures of positive COVID19 tests from the ANC Health Department no longer including further details, and not bothering with unknowns like “travel history pending“, which probably means from China, as recent updates from the health authorities, have included less details than updates did up until 22

#Covid19 First Confirmed Case of CoronaVirus Reported in South Africa in Kwazulu-Natal – patient returned from Italy.

A 38 year old man who returned from Italy with his wife, in a tour group of 10, on March 1, has tested positive for CoronaVirus. The patient and doctor are self isolating.

The tracer team has been deployed to KwaZulu-Natal with epidemiologists & clinicians from NICD. The doctor has been self-isolated as well.A media briefing was issued to ensure that the public are immediately kept abreast #CoronaVirus

A press briefing will be held later after the parliamentary debate this evening to shed more light on this issue #CoronavirusOutbreak #CoronaVirusSA

It is almost certain that as soon as more testing occurs on a wider scale, many more cases will be discovered…

Too Late? Summary of ANC #CoronaVirus Response as SA #COVID19 Cases (The Ones We Know About), Jumps to 51, ANC Declares A State of Disaster!

Five weeks after SA-News called for flights to SA to be restricted, the global CoronoVirus death rate shot past 6,400. Ramaphosa conducted consultations on Sunday with key stakeholders who will be impacted by #CoronaVirusSA during a special Cabinet meeting. He subsequently addressed the nation outlining their plans to cope with the pending disaster. He declared a national state of disaster in terms of the Disaster Management Act.

Summary of Ramaphosa’ address concerning the Coronavirus

1. Declared national disaster.
2. Limit contact between person.
3. Imposing travel ban between high risk countries.
4. Cancelled/revoked visas.
5. Reframe all forms of international travel.
6. Self isolation and testing on citizens returning from international countries.
7. Strengthen screening at airports.
8. SA has 72 ports of entries, 35 will be shut down effective Monday.
9. Discourage all national travel.
10. Gatherings of more than 100 people prohibited.

The NICD confirms mango fly maggot infestation in North West province

The National Institute of Communicable Diseases (NICD) has confirmed an outbreak of maggot (tumbu fly) infestation in people in the North West province and increased sporadic cases in Gauteng.

“Our laboratory has confirmed that the maggots are those of the tumbu fly (also known as the mango’ or ‘putsi’ fly).
