Die departement van gesondheid in Gauteng moet dringend verduidelik waarom dokters nie oortydbetaling ontvang nie en dit so vinnig as moontlik regstel, het die Demokratiese Alliansie Sondag gesê.
Talle dokters by Gauteng-staatshospital word nie vir oortydwerk betaal nie en het gehoor dat die departement “nie geld het om hulle te betaal nie”, het Jack Bloom, woordvoerder vir die DA, gesê. “Ek het berigte ontvang dat dokters by Tembisa, Leratong en Yusuf Dadoo-hospitale, en moontlik ook by ander hospitale, nie oortydbetaling ontvang nie,” het hy verduidelik.
